Kristen Stewart Drops Out Of Her Next Movie, Cali

The Kristen Stewart drama ensues. After her brazen public apology to her (ex?) boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, for cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders, the young Hollywood starlet has decided to avoid the spotlight by reportedly dropping out of her next movie, Cali. She had been set to star in the romantic drama opposite Magic Mike's Alex Pettyfer, and rumor has it that Amber Heard will be her replacement.
While calling it quits because she's blue over a boy probably isn't the most professional thing to do, Breaking Dawn Part 2 director Bill Condon made some good points in Stewart's defense in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. He said, "The fact is, these are actors playing parts, and maybe it’s not such a bad thing that people be reminded of that. Both of these actors gave heart and soul to the Twilight movies, not only during shooting, but also by navigating so graciously the whole life-in-a-fishbowl aspect of the phenomenon. Above all they have always shown great respect for the fans who made these movies such a success. Now it’s time that some of that respect be returned to them."
Pattinson will be publicly opening up for the first time on TV since the scandal broke when he appears on The Daily Show on August 13 and then Good Morning America on August 15.
